A man told Ibn Sirin (RA) that he dreamed of carrying a bag filled with snakes and scorpions. Ibn Sirin interpreted the dream, saying, “You must have done something that made wicked people hate you.” The man replied, “Yes, I have been appointed by the Sultan to collect taxes from the Arabs, and this has made them hate me.”
