Central Pillar of the House Breaking in Dream
A woman came to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and said, “I saw in a dream that the central pillar of my house broke, and the ceiling collapsed.” The Prophet told her, “Your husband will return home from a journey.” Soon after, her husband came back from a business trip, and she was happy.
Later, while her husband was in town, she had the same dream again. She wanted to ask the Prophet about it, but he was not there. Instead, she told Abu Bakr, who said, “Your husband will soon die.”
In the first dream, her husband was away, and in the second, he was present. Since the situation was different, the meaning of the dream also changed.
